Nadira Merali is the founder and lead planner of Envi Event Planning, a full service event planning firm specializing in elevated South Asian weddings and celebrations.

Since 2007, Nadira has brought nearly two decades of experience to creating and coordinating unforgettable events. With a deep understanding of South Asian traditions and multi-day celebrations, she expertly manages everything from intricate timelines and vendor coordination to the smallest finishing touches.

Known for her attention to detail, cultural understanding, and calm, hands-on approach, Nadira ensures every celebration feels effortless, intentional, and beautifully executed.

How We Work

From the first conversation to the final send-off

Every celebration follows the same arc with us, whether it is a single-evening nikkah or a full week of functions. Here is what working together looks like.

  1. Consultation

    We start with a conversation about the two of you, your families and the celebration you picture. Bring your questions, your inspiration and your worries — this is where we listen.

  2. Proposal

    You receive a written proposal that spells out the package, the scope and how we will work together, so there are no surprises later.

  3. Design & vendor sourcing

    We shape the look and feel of each function and bring you vendors who understand South Asian celebrations — the mehndi artist, the dhol player, the caterer who knows what a proper biryani service takes.

  4. Planning & logistics

    Budgets, contracts, timelines, guest lists, hotel blocks and transport come together in one shared plan. You always know what has been decided and what is still open.

  5. Rehearsal

    Before the big days we walk the wedding party and the family through their moments, so everyone knows where to stand and when.

  6. Event days

    We are on site early and leave late. Vendors report to us, questions come to us, and you get to be a guest at your own celebration.

  7. Send-off

    After the last function we close out the vendors, return what needs returning and hand you the memories — not a to-do list.
