Wedding Planning

South Asian & Multicultural Wedding Planning

Full service wedding planning for South Asian and multicultural weddings. We handle every detail from venue selection to day-of coordination so you can enjoy every moment.

What it includes

Wedding planning with Envi covers the whole celebration, not just the wedding day. We source and visit venues, build and track the budget, bring in and manage the vendors, shape the design and décor of every function, look after the guest list and RSVPs, write the timelines, run the rehearsal and manage every moment on the days themselves.

How much of that you hand to us is your choice. Our three packages — full service, partial planning and day-of coordination — let you decide where you want help and where you would rather keep the reins.

Who it's for

Couples and families planning a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Ismaili, Jain, Christian or fusion celebration. Couples who want their traditions honoured properly and their parents put at ease. Couples who would rather spend the wedding week with their guests than with a clipboard.

If you have already booked some vendors, or planned everything and simply need someone to run it, there is a package for that too.

How it works

It starts with a conversation. Tell us about the two of you, the traditions you are bringing together, the functions you are picturing and the dates you have in mind. From there we send a proposal, agree the scope, and get to work — design first, then vendors, then the logistics that make the days run.

As the wedding approaches we confirm every vendor, walk the family through the rehearsal, and arrive early on each event day so that nothing lands on you.

The functions we plan

A South Asian wedding is a series of events, each with its own rituals, guest list and mood. We plan each one on its own terms and knit them into a single, calm week.

  • Mehndi

Henna, chaat and music — usually the first gathering of the week.

  • Sangeet / Garba

Performances, dancing and dinner for both families.

  • Haldi / Pithi

A daytime turmeric ritual, bright with marigolds.

  • Nikkah

The Muslim marriage ceremony, the signing of the nikkah nama and a shared meal.

  • Baraat

The groom's procession, from the horse or carriage to the milni at the door.

  • Ceremony

Under a mandap, at a gurdwara, in a church or at a civil altar.

  • Reception

The grand entrance, the first dance, the toasts and the send-off.

From Our Work

A groom in an ivory sherwani and cream turban holds a bride in a white embroidered bridal outfit and veil beneath a tree, with white azalea blossoms in the foreground and bamboo behind them.
A bride in an orange embroidered lehenga with a long sheer dupatta sits on a rooftop terrace beside a fountain while the groom, in an ivory sherwani and turban, stands behind her.
A reception hall with a vast copper-toned string installation hanging from the ceiling, a lit stage with a monogram and portrait screens, lounge seating, and a patterned dance floor.
A couple reclines on a low lounge draped in layered red and gold rugs and kilim cushions, the woman in a turquoise sequined lehenga, with a brass pitcher, dates and candles on a low table.
A bride in a maroon embroidered lehenga with a nath and kundan jewelry stands beside a groom in an ivory sherwani with a maroon dupatta, his hand on a ceremonial sword.
A smiling bride seen through a sheer, sequined veil, wearing a pearl and mint-stone choker, maang tikka and an ivory embroidered bridal outfit, hands clasped in front of her.
