Exquisite
A South Asian wedding is rarely one day. It is a week of gatherings, each with its own rituals, its own guest list, its own music and its own colour, and each one deserves the same care as the ceremony itself. Envi plans the whole arc, so the mehndi flows into the sangeet and the sangeet into the wedding morning without anyone in your family having to hold the schedule in their head.
We know the difference between a baraat that needs a police escort and one that needs a dhol player and a good pair of shoes. We know when the priest, the imam or the granthi needs the stage and when the caterer needs it back. That is the expertise behind every timeline we write.
The functions we plan
Mehndi
An evening of henna, chaat and music, usually the first gathering of the week.
Sangeet
Performances, dancing and dinner for both families, often the largest party before the wedding.
Haldi
A daytime ritual of turmeric and blessings, bright with marigolds and laughter.
Nikkah
The Muslim marriage ceremony, followed by the signing of the nikkah nama and a shared meal.
Baraat
The groom's procession — horse, carriage or car, with a dhol leading the way to the milni.
Ceremony
The wedding itself, under a mandap, at a gurdwara, in a church or at a civil altar.
Reception
The grand entrance, the first dance, the toasts and the send-off that closes the week.
